How To Discourage Gnats From Crawling In Your Eyes

The gnats were pretty tenacious during our camping trip this weekend, and as we all know, necessity is the mother of invention (did I get that right??), and my cousin Jessica is nothing if not wildly creative.  This was her solution to the gnat problem during our hike, and I have to say, the look might take a while to catch on, but it WORKED!
Part gnat repellent, part camouflage? Can you see me?
How about now?  I mean, maybe the gnats couldn't find me...
These kids were so sick of the gnats they were willing to try just about anything...
