Friday was spent with two sets of friends. We played all morning at Deep Roots farm; I lucked into a tour by one of the farmers...

The farm is so lush and abundant. Look at this patch of winter squash! We hunted for tomato horn worms and blackberries...
We picked up Dan in the afternoon and headed out to the woods for some golf and play.
Things weren't looking so good for the porcelain babydolls...

While the nurses tended the dollies, and the game of golf got started, I sat on the patio, enjoying the sounds of the woods. This big guy found me - isn't he marvelous???
The golf stakes were raised with a game of
fireball...that's right, a new kind of hazard on the course...
It was quite a day...
