Oh these are so lovely. They look beautiful hanging around the room. What a great idea.
So, were you serious about wanting to "play" in my 5 for 5 as well? I think that's awesome. And yes, when all is said and done I will post what I made. How about you?

Wow,thoes are so beautiful. My boys painted some, but they just slapped on one color of paint! Boys, I guess...

phyllis - i had no idea what they'd do - i even offered (gulp) glitter, but they painstakingly chose colors and carefully painted each little detail on most of them...the experience was lovely, and they look so pretty hanging up! kind of remind me of mexican cut paper garlands...

debbie - i don't think i should probably take on another five before i've managed my first five, but i do wish i could do both!! i love this whole idea! and will post what it is i end up making...

What a fantastically fabulous idea! They are so pretty hanging all around! If the stores were open I would run out right now and get the doilies. Thank you so much for such a great idea!

These are so carefully and beautifully painted. When I taught K-1 art I used to give them doilies to make prints with after reading "Swimmy" Printed doilies look like coral!
