It started with this book, which I thought the girls would like, but little did I know how much.
A couple of days later, the gentle naming of rocks was still lingering in their thoughts and they started finding...drawing rocks...
...worry rocks...
..."home" rocks (which I think the book might call "hiding" rocks, but Eliza said it was Home to so many creatures, that's what it should be called...
...and our favorite - wishing rocks.

I have a friend here at work, Mary, who collects heart-shaped rocks and has a lot of them.Who knew there could be so many of a particular shape? Fun to look for though.
Wishing rocks... we must find some of those!! I love the white line through that rock... no wonder it's a favorite. Thank you so much for sharing on Friday's Nature Table.
