Spring Green

We're still on our trip to Wisconsin! One of the great benefits of coming here to see family is that some dear friends of ours who live in Seattle spend their summers here.  They are what they call a "nomadic theater family", in an attempt to embrace the necessity of following the work back and forth between their two locales.  It is lucky for us to be able to reconnect with them at least this once a year - it is brief but intense!  There were some new dynamics and new loves...

We got both papas, a rare treat...

To cap off our evening, after a local auction with great outside entertainment, we were treated to our own show, featuring the fanciest shoes in the closet and microphone brushes...we packed it in. No photos of the mamas (save for our friend J dancing with the kiddos), who were talking at breakneck speed, filling in, filling up, storing away for another year.

Tomorrow the girls and I leave Dan to study for a few days to visit my dad and his wife in Sheboygan...
