It's been a while since I've linked a post to the always engaging My Town Shoot-out, a collaboration of photographer bloggers who share bits and pieces of their towns and communities, but I had just taken a bunch of photos at our community garden plot when I noticed that a number of them fit nicely with this week's theme of the letter B...so, two Birds with one Blogpost - here are some shots of the garden and the B's...
Berries (from the living border around the garden)
Beans! (growing in our little plot)
Bamboo (holding up some beautiful Basella, or malabar spinach)
Big Beetle (I think this is also called a Green Peach beetle, or a Chinese beetle.
They are huge and bumbling, along the lines of a June Bug)
Little Beetle (also known as a potato bug!)
Bees on Blossoms - a beautiful patch of echinacea, or purple coneflowers.
Check out the other photos at Friday My Town Shoot-Out!

Oh, these are so lovely! I especially love the coneflowers - so thick and beautiful in their purpleness!
how about b for blog? or beginner? or bumbling blabbing? 'cause here it is...http://alialexa.blogspot.com/
ooooeee!, just look at those two top gorgeous pics... razzes and coneflowers. mmm-mm!
well I am certainly glad you joined us this shoot out. these shots are great!! love the flowers and the bamboo shots. fantastic!!
Well done, on the B find. Thier all great photo's.
Nice job. Berries made me laugh. The bees less so. I usually like bees but am having an awful time trying to eliminate an underground nest (yellow jackets actually) in out flower garden.
Nicely done. The first photo of the berry is a classic. It made me smile. Your other photos are awesome too.
Good to see you back, even if I'm seeing you a week late. Love the berry shot and the bamboos!
